Activision has officially confirmed that a remaster of Spyro The Dragon will be released in September.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy will feature all three of the iconic purple dragon’s titles on PlayStation – Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon – and is being developed by Toys for Bob, the studio behind the Skylanders franchise.

The games will feature updated graphics and audio but will feature many of the original voice cast, including Tom Kenny as Spyro. The original Spyro was first released on PlayStation in 1998, with the release date of September 21 falling just after the game’s 20th anniversary.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from September 21.
