PlayStation fans got a glimpse at what the future holds for the console.

For the first time, Sony have held a press conference at Paris Games Show. The company announced the decision earlier in the year, citing the proximity of E3 to Gamescom in Germany as the reason behind the switch to Paris.

Hosted by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe President Jim Ryan, those who saw the event – both in person and through livestreaming – got a first look at some of the projects heading to PlayStation in the coming months, along with a more detailed look at PlayStation VR, the company’s foray into virtual reality.

The company also marked the 20th Anniversary of PlayStation’s launch in Europe and announced that there will be a selection of ‘Ultimate Player Edition’ PlayStation 4 bundles being made available to gamers in the coming months.
