The new title was announced at the PlayStation Experience.
A new Marvel vs Capcom title will be launching in 2017. Capcom confirmed the news with a new trailer, shown at the PlayStation Experience, which shows Ryu and Mega-Man battling Iron Man and Captain Marvel – a new addition to the roster – in 2v2 combat.
The trailer also confirmed that the game will be titled Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, referencing the Infinity Stones from the Marvel Universe.
In addition to the new title, PlayStation’s Shawn Layden also announced that Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is now available on PlayStation 4 though the PlayStation Store.
Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is scheduled for a 2017 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Watch the trailer below.
