Gaming News: New Legend of Zelda Footage Unveiled

Two new pieces were shown at The Game Awards.

Nintendo have release more footage from the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In the first of two clips from the game, introduced by Nintendo Treehouse’s Bill Trinen, Link is shown to be exploring more of the game’s locations, as well as a teaser clip of a new female character.

During the award ceremony, Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Amié introduced a new gameplay demo piece. Staring with a message from the game’s producer Eiji Aonuma, the demo featured a mission segment in which Link is trying to gain access to a particular location. This gameplay segment also introduced players to Kass, a new minstrel character.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be available on Wii U and Nintendo Switch in 2017. Watch the gameplay demo below:
