The event will celebrate female heroes across gaming platforms.
Marvel Gaming have announced details of their Women of Power Event. The new event, placing focus on female heroes in their video games, will run alongside a similar celebration in Marvel Publishing and feature new characters and content in various games featuring female superheroes.
Lego Marvel’s Avengers introducing Captain Marvel, Moonstone and Poundcakes to the game, a new Ms. Marvel event quest in Marvel Contest of Champions, new additions to the student body in Marvel Avengers Academy, new Women of Power variant covers in Marvel Puzzle Quest and a new event in Marvel Future Fight featuring Proxima Midnight were among some of the announcements made as the event gets underway this month.
In addition, Spider-Women will have their own special event in Spider-Man Unlimited and Marvel Heroes 2016 players will be able to team up with new addition Rescue and unlock a new power costume for American Dream.
Lego Marvel Avengers is available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, PS Vita and PC. Marvel Puzzle Quest is available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, iOS and Android. Spider-Man Unlimited is available on iOS, Android and Windows Phone. Marvel Heroes 2016 is available on PC and Mac. Marvel Contest of Champions, Marvel Avengers Academy and Marvel Future Fight are available on iOS and Android.
