Players got a more in-depth look at the gameplay in the upcoming action adventure RPG.
Set 1000 years in the future, in a world dominated by mechanical creatures after the collapse of civilisation, Horizon Zero Dawn follows the story of Aloy, a young woman trying to survive as best as she can in this new world.
The new demo showed how players can use different ways of taking down enemies to collect valuable resources which Aloy needs to continue her journey. From setting stealth traps to using different styles of arrows to misdirect and destroy, the in depth demo also explained how these resources can be found and used once Aloy has possession of them.
First announced at E3 this year, the game will also feature a fully explorable open world environment with realistic day and night mechanics and no loading screens.
Horizon Zero Dawn is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 4 in 2016. Watch the gameplay demo below.
