The publisher will host the weekend event in Los Angeles along with a one day event in London prior to the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

Electronic Arts have confirmed they will not have a booth on the show-floor at this year’s E3 show. Instead, the company will host EA Play at Club Nokia in Los Angeles from June 12-14 and the Mermaid in London on June 12. Both events will be open to the public with live demos, competitions and guests. The events will also be live-streamed online for those not able to attend.

The company will also present it’s annual Press Conference on June 12 – the Sunday before E3 opens – at 9pm GMT. The company will hold private meetings at the Los Angeles Convention Centre during E3 but has “released our booth in the South Hall” according to Polygon.

Announcing the event, the company wrote on it’s website; “Our players are the driving force behind everything we do. So this summer, we’re opening up our world to you with unique live events in Los Angeles and London. We’ll bring the new games, we’ll bring the demos, we’ll bring the competition…and you get to go hands-on. Or join us online and immerse yourself to experience some of our greatest games of the year.”

Those wanting more information on the events can register for updates via the EA Play site here.
