Google has hosted the first Stadia Connect presentation to unveil more details about its upcoming Stadia platform. Announced earlier this year, the new service will be a dedicated, streaming only gaming platform which will be fully playable across multiple devices, including television, computers and even Pixel mobile phones.

Set to launch in November, players will be able to gain access to the service via either a Stadia Pro subscription – costing £8.99 per month in the UK and $9.99 per month in the US – or via Stadia Base, which will be free to access in 2020.

Google also unveiled the Stadia Founders Edition. Costing £119 in the UK and $129.99 in the US, this edition includes:

  • A Chromecast Ultra
  • Limited Edition Night Blue Stadia controller
  • Three months of Stadia Pro subscription
  • A three-month Buddy Pass to give Stadia Pro to a friend
  • First chance to claim your Stadia Name

The Founder’s Edition will allow those who pre-order the chance to be the first to use the service at launch and will be available in 14 countries – the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland – with more regions being added in 2020.

The presentation also gave players a look at a selection of the titles which will be coming to Stadia, including The Division 2, Borderlands 3, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, while also announcing new titles currently in development which include Baldur’s Gate 3, Gylt and Get Packed.

Google also announced that a complete Destiny 2 “experience” would be included in the Founder’s Edition, which also includes the newly announced Shadowkeep expansion which will launch in the Autumn.
