Ghost Recon: Wildlands
First shown at the end of last year’s presentation, Ghost Recon: Wildlands is the next title under the Tom Clancy banner. For this game, players are taken to Bolivia, where a Mexican drug carter has taken over the country and turned it into a ‘narco state’. Working alone – or in a team of up to four in co-op – players have to take the organisation down one piece at time before going after the cartel’s leader. In this open world adventure, players will be able to choose how they play each part of the game, with the choice being left up to them as to how they go on.
The presentation also featured a gameplay demo of the four player team. The aim of the mission was to extract a promonent member of the cartel in order to gain access to valuable information. Using a combination of stealth, combat, ranged and melee weapons and various vehicles, the demo showcased one option to complete the mission, with a reminder that the choice is always up to the player.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from March 7 2017. Watch the game-play walkthrough below.
