Forza Horizon 3
Another franchise getting a new chapter announced at the presentation was Forza Horizon 3. Taking the action to Australia, Forza Horizon 3 has the biggest roster of cars in the series to date, the return of showcase races and what has been described as “the largest and most diverse open world ever built” by the game’s Creative Director Ralph Fulton. The game’s release date was also confirmed during the presentation as September 27.
Like Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3 also featured a live game-play demo. With four players – two on Xbox and two on Windows 10 – the demo showcased the types of vehicles available for players to use across the various areas in Australia. As the final piece, the four players came together in one co-op race using the game’s seamless invite and entry system. This system allows players to go straight into a co-op once invited, regardless of their own position in their solo game.
Forza Horizon 3 will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10 from September 27. Watch a trailer below.
