The game from Quantic Dream was confirmed during Sony’s conference in Paris.
Detroit: Become Human tells the story of Kara (Valorie Curry), a AX400 android created in the titular city in a alterate timeline. Unlike her fellow androids, Kara is able to feel emotions and think like a human being.
The game originally began life as ‘Kara’, a short demo film made by Quantic Dream (and starring Curry), that was for PlayStation 3 development. The game’s creator, David Cage, did confirm the game will pick where the short film left off as players will journey with Kara as she tries to make her way in the world.
