Telltale Games have announced details of their new title which will mark 30 years of the beloved film franchise.
Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition takes place six months after the end of Back to the Future III and sees a whole new story develop when the DeLorean Time Machine suddenly arrives back in Hill Valley – without a driver. Players will guide Marty McFly as he travels back to 1931 to enlist the teenage Doc Brown to help save their future selves – all while preserving the future.
As players progress through the game, there will be a whole host on in-game access content including behind the scenes of the game, interviews with Tom Wilson aka Biff Tannen and Bob Gale – the trilogy’s co-writer and producer as well as the voice of young Marty AJ LoCascio.
Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4 from October 16. Watch the launch trailer below.
