scalebound

As with E3, there was a varied mix of gameplay and cinematic trailers for upcoming game releases:

  • Scalebound is a third person action adventure RPG where the player takes on the role of Drew, a human looking for a mysterious artefact…..with the help of a massive, battle ready dragon. A second teaser also showed off the games 4 player co-op option.
  • Crackdown 3 – described as the ‘ultimate sandbox’ – features a 100% fully destructible environment for players to navigate through as they seek to take down a criminal network across a city in the near future.
  • Killer Instinct will come to Windows 10 in March 2016. As a treat for gamers today, there was a look at Rash from Rare Replay‘s Battletoads in action in the game – who is available to play now.
  • Thimbleweed Park had it’s world première. The point-and-click pixel adventure will be coming to Windows 10 and Xbox One next June but fans were given a look at the gameplay and a taste of murder mystery storyline.

There was also extended looks at Just Cause 3 and Dark Souls 3 from E3 and a new trailer for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Seige featuring the German Polizei as a treat for the home crowd. For those with access to Game Preview, there was details on upcoming titles such as Rivals of Aether, Starbound and also first look trailers for dino-survival game Ark: Survival Evolved and the odd take on the world in the psychedelically dark We Happy Few. If that wasn’t enough, then there was also a first look at Cobalt, the newest platform game from Minecraft creators Mojang.
