Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst
The prequel title showed off more impressive gameplay at the briefing. This time around, we follow Faith as she goes on a mission – guided by Noah – to the Elysium building. This agricultural sciences company hides a dark secret, which Faith stumbles across during this seemingly routine mission. According to the game’s senior producer Sara Janssen, this mission is a turning point for Faith and her life as a runner.
The footage shows off some of the new and updated features for the gameplay, such as switching to a third person cinematic for finishing moves, more interactive environments and a shift in focus more on unarmed combat and the parkour skills of Faith herself and making them more a part of the game – which is set for a February 2016 release.
