Ever wondered what it’s like being a music photographer? Well, look no further. This weekend House Of Vans is presenting In Focus: A Panel On Music Photography, an exclusive insight into the life of a music photographer.

Bringing in a group of esteemed music photographers from the music industry, the panel will discuss their most memorable moments, the challenges faced in capturing the fleeting moments at concerts and how to make a career out of a hobby. The discussion will be chaired by Sammy Andrew – an independent music industry advisor.

The panel of photographers includes:

Ben Morse: A film director and photographer, and current tour photographer for Frank Turner, and curator of the Get Better: Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls exhibition at the House Of Vans.

Emma Swann: Co-Founder and editor of DIY Magazines, one of the UK’s biggest music monthlies.

Sarah Louise Bennett: Freelance music photographer and regular contributor to Upset Magazine, DIY magazine and house photographer for the Brixton Academy, and Shepherds Bush Empire.

The talk will be followed by an open Q&A session.

To attend the talk you can apply for tickets via the House Of Vans website. And why not check out our Gallery pages to see the work our talented photographers create.
