While another year of festivals has been and gone, fear not; festivals are announcing their line ups left, right and centre in the run up to Christmas and the latest soiree to announce for their 2018 edition is the brilliant Metropolitan festival Live at Leeds, hosted in, you guessed it, the beautiful city of Leeds.

After the 2017 sold out success that was Live at Leeds, 2018 sees some old favourites head back to the Northern City with B Town favourites Peace marking their return, indie pop specialists Circa Waves take their thrilling live show to the Leeds stages and The Horrors make the trip up North to showcase their critically acclaimed new album ‘V’.

Live at Leeds also boasts the best in up and coming talent that this country has to offer and this year is no different, 2018 will see recently announced BBC Sound of nominees Pale Waves take to the Leeds streets as well as other Sound of nomineess Tom Walker and Lewis Capaldi. Other acts announced for the festival include Blaenavon, Spring King, Anteros, Bloxx, British Sea Power, Whenyoung, Sam Fender, Will Heard, Naaz, Suzi Wu, Hey Charlie, Nick J.D Hodgson and many more exciting acts to be announced.

Speaking about Live At Leeds 2018, Festival Director Andy Smith said:

“The festival has always been about showcasing new music and offering emerging artists a platform to build their audience in the North and this year is no different.

Joining the bill for 2018 we see acts included on the BBC Sound of 2018 longlist in Pale Waves, Sam Fender, Tom Walker and Lewis Capaldi, hotly tipped local artists like GRDNS and Peakes and hyped acts such as Blaenavon, Will Heard and Anteros. And of course, as always, we have a great selection of established and respected artists heading up the bill, like Circa Waves, Peace, British Sea Power and The Horrors.”

The festival will take place in various venues across Leeds’ City Centre on Saturday 5th May 2018. Tickets for next years event are available through https://www.liveatleeds.com/ and start from £36.
