Matthew Vaughn’s spy comedy Kingsman: The Secret Service proved one of 2015’s most talked about films for a number of reasons. Many delighted in its subversive humour and fun characters, while others took great offence to its abundant use of graphic violence (mostly relating to a certain church scene). One thing it was especially notable for was the death of Colin Firth’s character soon after the aforementioned scene – he was first billed on the poster, after all.

Despite the character seemingly killed for good, however, a recent poster for the upcoming sequel appears to hint otherwise (it features the character’s signature glasses along with the line “Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated”). Add in the fact that Firth himself has been pictured on set in a recent Instagram post from Pedro Pascal along with the caption “Hide behind Harry” and it would seem that the rumours are true: Harry Hart is back.

Both Vaughn and Kingsman‘s other stars Taron Egerton and Mark Strong are also set to return for the sequel, which has been titled Kingsman: The Golden Circle. This time around they’ll be joined by a host of exciting names such as Pascal, Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum and Elton John.
