The annual inner city festival, held in musical hub Sheffield, arguably has its biggest and boldest line-up to date, inviting huge names from a wide range of eclectic genres. Started in 2009, attendance figures have boomed every year and this year Tramlines is sure to attract thousands to the city.

Arguably the most anticipated name so far on the list, and playing on its main stage on Friday, are indie rock heroes The Libertines. Pete Doherty and Carl Barat’s band has amassed a dedicated cult following since before the millennium, and will be a must-see moment during the weekend. The two other already announced Friday names include Scottish rockers Twin Atlantic, and hip hop outfit The Pharcyde.

Many more established bands, and newer/obscure acts have been included on the bill over the festival’s weekend: 90s pop gems All Saints, and We Are Scientists are stand out names for the Saturday, alongside up and coming exciting alternative bands Cabbage, Spring King, and The Magic Gang. On Sunday, The Coral and Metronomy will be appearing at Tramlines, alongside Blaenavon, Goat Girl and X Factor alumni Lucy Spraggan.

Tramlines will be taking place between the 21st and 23rd July, and further details on the line-up, as well as information on how to purchase tickets, can be accessed here.
