Returning to Manchester for its seventh year, Parklife 2017 boasts arguably its biggest lineup to date, combining the best names in dance and house music, alongside indie bands and up-and-coming grime artists.

With its pre-established reputation as being one of the best live music events in the country, the two-day festival promises to be the host of non-stop audial brilliance.

The full line-up for Parklife was announced on Monday, with R&B star Frank Ocean topping the bill.

Ocean will be making his first UK performance since 2014 at the Heaton Park ground, making it the first chance for many to hear him play tracks from last summer’s Blonde. The critically acclaimed second album featured collaborations from the likes of Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar and André 3000- and if his ratings are anything to go by, will be a hit with fans.

Mercury Prize-nominated band The 1975 will also be headlining Parklife. The indie rockers are returning for an inevitably massive homecoming set, in what is sure to be an unmissable set.

Scheduled to take place June 10 and June 11, the festival will also showcase a horde of grime acts including Boy Better Know and Wiley, as well as American hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest.

Other acts added to the line-up include Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Rag’n’Bone Man and London Grammar.

Tickets for Parklife are available now through their website, with weekend tickets costing £99.50. For more information head-over to its website: http://parklife.uk.com.
