London has several one-day festivals each year, and this summer the revamped Community Festival is taking place at the iconic Finsbury Park. The event, which will be a massive concert held on the 1st July, will showcase bands deemed to be the freshest and best new sounds in music, particularly within the alternative and rock genres.

Announced as headliners are Catfish and the Bottlemen – with a No1 album in The Ride, and a Brit Award under their belt, the Welsh lads are definitely one of the biggest bands in the UK right now. Their appearance in London will be one of a handful of British festivals the band will play in 2017, following on from a lengthy North American tour this spring.

The Wombats are marking the 10th Anniversary of debut release A Guide to Love, Loss, and Desperation throughout 2017, and will make a stop at Finsbury Park as part of their mini-tour celebrating the album in its glory.

Other acts announced for Community Festival alongside Catfish and the Bottlemen, and The Wombats, are punk sensations Slaves, the delightful Nothing But Thieves, The Hunna, Darlia, Fickle Friends, and Redfaces.

Tickets for Community Festival will be sold at £35, and will go on sale from 10am on the 21st February. More information about the event can be accessed here.
