Is it festival time already? It will be before you know it and Slam Dunk Festival have just released some news regarding the 2019 weekend festival.
All Time Low will headline next year’s Slam Dunk Festival.
The champions of pop-punk will bring their genre-defining tunes for two exclusive headline shows in Hatfield and Leeds next May. Frontman Alex Gakarth previewed the headline slot by saying: “There’s been a bit of an ATL drought in the UK recently so we thought it best to come back and tear shit up with some rad bands. Bring your life jackets.”
Once again blending the best alternative bands, new and old, Slam Dunk have confirmed both NOFX and New Found Glory will be bringing the hits along to this year’s festival. NFG’s Chad Gilbert perfectly summed up the announcement in saying: “We are the Michael Jordan of Slam Dunk. And we are coming to alley-oop all our jams down your faces.”
The emerging and brilliant Waterparks also lead the first acts for the festival with Story Of The Year, Gallows, Silverstein and Mad Caddies completing the list and showing off the diverse range of acts which make Slam Dunk so special.
For 2019, Slam Dunk continues to grow with Leeds moving to a new site while also cutting back somewhat with the Birmingham leg of the festival being pulled. The festival will take place over 25th – 26th May 2019 and tickets will go on sale from 19th October 2018.
