Fall Guys Season 4 will be released on 22 March for PC and PS4, the trailer has confirmed.
In addition to new fashion choices and seven new rounds for players to enjoy, the new season will feature a crossover with Among Us.
At the end of the new trailer, one of the characters falls into lava as the words ‘Fall Guy was ejected. 1 Imposter remains’ appear across the screen. This is the same type and style as in Among Us.
The character wears a red spacesuit and egg hat, similar to the characters in Among Us.
The costume will be part of Season 4’s fame path instead of available to buy with Crowns, the in-game currency. Mediatonic, the game’s developer, confirmed to IGN that it will be available from day one of the season.
The developers also teased that there will be more Among Us themed costumes that will come with additional secrets and quirks, and that the imposter reference at the end of the trailer will be more than a trailer joke.
“There’s definitely something a bit ‘suspicious’ about that new trailer…” the developers said on their website. “We can’t wait to bring you more exciting updates closer to release, but for now get ready to Roll On to a Skyline Stumble and take some Big Shots…but be careful not to Power Trip as you stumble into the future!”
In addition to the crossover, the new season is set to have a futuristic theme. The trailer shows a character falling off the map into the slime. Instead of being respawned, it is transported to the year 4041 where it is joined by a number of characters dressed in neon outfits.
The new season will be released three days prior to the BAFTA Gaming Awards, where Fall Guys has been nominated for five awards.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PC and PS4 and is scheduled to arrive on Xbox and Nintendo Switch this summer.
