Bourjois: Liner Pinceau
Ever since I remember I’ve had a fascination with Jean Shrimpton and her various looks – in particular her eyeliner. I’ve spent a lot of money on experimenting with different eyeliners so I could replicate The Shrimp’s iconic look. I’ve tried everything there is from Collection 2000 to Chanel. Admittedly I’m extremely fussy with eyeliner – it has to be the deepest black possible, liquid, non-smudging, last all day and it has to have a good applicator. The best I’ve ever found comes in the form of Bourjois’ Liner Pinceau in Ultra Black. It ticks all the boxes: it lasts a whole day and then some, it’s definitely ultra-black, and the thing that really sells it is the ‘high precision brush’. The brush is very thin and more like a paintbrush than felt tip, which allows to create the 60s drawn on eyelashes look, but it’s not so thin that you can’t do a bold cat-eye flick in tribute to Amy Winehouse.
