WHO’S IN THE BAND – There’s a fun electropop feel in their music, so it’s no surprise that two of the members play on keyboards (Natassja Shiner & Jack Wilson) – Natassja also provides lead vocals. Making up the rest of the band are Chris Hall who plays guitar, Harry Herrington on bass and provider of backing vocals, and Sam Morris on drums.
GENRE – Electropop/indie pop sounds.
WHERE ARE FICKLE FRIENDS FROM – Brighton; the vivid coastal city thrives on a strong music scene; cracking rock duo Royal Blood also originate from Brighton as well.
HOW LONG HAS THE BAND BEEN AROUND FOR – Since 2013.
YOU MAY RECOGNISE THEM FROM… – The group have toured extensively, and have played the likes of Reading/Leeds Festival. Their 2014 track ‘Swim’ has racked up over 10 million plays on Spotify, a track which infuses modern and 80s smooth electronic sounds together, and the result is a deliciously catchy song.
