Dead by Daylight’s next crossover will feature characters from Child’s Play.

Chucky will be one of the new killers. He will have good sneaking abilities, which will make it hard to track, and he will also be able to jump through windows and under pallets to close in on his targets. The character will also have a Slice & Dice ability, where he can quickly lunge forward and attack Survivors. According to the DBD website, Chucky will be the first killer character to use a third-person camera.

Charles Lee Ray, Chucky’s pre-doll human form, will act as a spirit to help Chucky to hook Survivors and disturb them during repairs.

Chucky will be joined by his bride, Tiffany Valentine, who can be unlocked by using the “Good Gal” outfit. Original actors Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly will voice the characters.

Dead by Daylight announced the news on 8 November, and posted a trailer on social media.

Developer Behaviour Interactive said: “Players can further customize the new Killer with the Good Gal outfit, inspired by Tiffany Valentine (aka the Bride of Chucky), which is voiced by Jennifer Tilly.”

They are not the first well-known horror characters to appear in Dead by Daylight. Previous crossovers have included Halloween’s Michael Myers, A Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Kruger, and Hellraiser’s Pinhead.

The crossover follows the airing of season three of the Chucky TV series. The first half of the season premiered on 4 October, with the second half scheduled to air in 2024.

The new crossover will be available to play on all platforms from 28 November.
