Lets Dance (From Let’s Dance – 1983)

An iconically popular single, ‘Let’s Dance’ is one of Bowie’s fastest-selling songs to date and has clearly stood the test of time, being a staple at many a house party. The main riff is insanely catchy and it’s impossible not to dance and sing along to this track as the title insists, a perfect embodiment of the titular album Let’s Dance as a whole. Released in 1983 with ‘Cat People (Putting Out Fire)’ as its B-side, this was the grand comeback from Bowie that fans were waiting for and is one of the most remarkably striking tracks he made for a long time.
