The full nominations for the 2024 BAFTA Games Awards have been announced.
Following the reveal of the shortlist for the EE Players’ Choice Award on March 5, the full list of nominations was announced today. In a special broadcast on BAFTA’s social media channels, hosted by Lucy James, the 40 games that will go head-to-head across 17 categories were unveiled.
Leading this year’s field is Baldur’s Gate 3 with 10 nominations including three nominations in the Performance in a Leading Role category with Amelia Tyler (The Narrator), Neil Newbon (Astarion) and Samantha Béart (Karlach) all up for the award. They are joined by Cameron Monaghan (Cal Kestis, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor) and the dual leads of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Nadji Jeter (Miles Morales) and Yuri Lowenthal (Peter Parker).
Other games with multiple nominations include Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (9), Alan Wake 2 (8), Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (6), The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (6), Dave The Diver (5) and Hi-Fi Rush (5).
Battling it out for the title of Best British Game will be Cassette Beasts, Dead Island 2, Disney Illusion Island, Football Manager 2024, Viewfinder and Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin. Up for the accolade of Best Game will be Alan Wake 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, Dave The Diver, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the BAFTA Games Awards is part of the London Games Festival, which takes place from April 9-25. Voting for the EE Players’ Choice Award is open now via the EE website and the 2024 BAFTA Games Awards will be broadcast live on Thursday, April 11 across the BAFTA YouTube, Twitch and X channels.
