Arctic Monkeys released a new video for 2013 hit, ‘Arabella’ yesterday. This comes ahead of their charitable album Arctic Monkeys – Live At The Royal Albert Hall, which is being released tomorrow on the 4th December to raise money for War Child UK.
The video, directed by Ben Chappell, boasts artistic snippets of behind the scene footage from their 2018 ‘Nuits De Fourvière’ concert in Lyon. The aesthetics of the new visuals install the nostalgia of the concerts and gigs, throwing you back to the exciting emotions of band tours.
The tune itself has been remastered from its original release on AM, making it more fitting with their change in sound which was seen with their latest album, Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino. By doing this, although they’re rereleasing older songs, they’ve incorporated a fresh element to the track. This entices you to listen to the new album, as well as keeping up the sense of cohesion with their current style while also maintaining their overall distinctive sound.
