Album: Chaleur Humaine

Artist: Christine And The Queens

Release: February 26

Having been originally released in France in 2014,  Chaleur Humaine finally made it to the UK this year. Already a star in France, this year saw Christine And The Queens, aka. Héloïse Letissier, go global. Aided by a Glastonbury performance that rivalled even the most seasoned headliners, Letissier was suddenly propelled from the stages of KOKO to two nights at a sold-out Brixton Academy. Yet Christine And The Queens albums still tackles some of 2016’s most high profile issues such as queer identity and gender politics with grace. It’s no surprise that Chaleur Humaine has left us wanting more.
