Following a four-year hiatus Irish indie rockers, Two Door Cinema Club released their third album this October. Unveiling the first single Are We Ready? (Wreck) on the Pyramid stage this summer, we were instantly hooked.
The rest of the tracks highlighted a more mature sound, with pulsating, electro-infused bass lines and punchy choruses combining well with Alex Trimble’s ever-present, irreplaceable tones. Gameshow, Lavender and Good Morning were particular high points for us of what proved to be a strong first release after a hiatus that seems to have done the boys from Bangor good.
