Circa Waves – T in the Park
If you’re hoping for proper, feel good summer tunes this festival season then you need not look any further than Circa Waves. At a festival already championing guitar music, with Noel Gallagher, The Libertines and Kasabian topping the bill, you can catch Circa Waves on the Saturday of T in the Park.
The four Liverpool lads have recently released their debut album, and the high-energy, youthful sound of Young Chasers is perfect for dancing to. This album almost seems as though it was written for the sole purpose of being played live, and the hype that Circa Waves have generated this year, matched with the usual antics of a good Scottish crowd can only guarantee you a good time. Though the weather forecast is bleak, and the field will be muddy, what more could you want to cheer you up than infectious indie pop and confetti cannons? This festival set is going to be a party and if you can’t already see yourself bouncing about to ‘T-Shirt Weather’ or belting out the title track rally cry that is ‘Young Chasers’, you might want to reschedule your summer!
