The Mind Mangler by Mischief Theatre has begun its UK 2024 tour, starting at the Apollo Theatre in London. Performances will run till 28 April on the West End and will then continue a two month tour across various cities. The first stop will be Manchester on May 15 where performance will run till 18 May. Other cities on the tour include Cambridge, Birmingham, Milton Keynes and others. The tour will conclude in Bath, where the final performance date will be 16 June.

Mischief Theatre was founded by a group of students that all studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). The original members of the group included both writers and directors; Henry Lewis, Jonathon Sayer and Henry Shields. In 2008 the company had their first improv performance at the Questors Theatre in Ealing, and from there the show went on to the Edinburgh fringe festival where the company began to attract more attention. By 2012 the company soon grew into producing large scale productions on the West End, most notably including The Play That Goes Wrong which recently celebrated its successful ten year run on the West End. Other works by the company include: Peter Pan Goes Wrong, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery and Magic Goes Wrong.

The BBC invited Mischief Theatre in 2016 to do a stage play adaption for a Christmas special that would air on television. Due to the popularity of the Peter Pan Goes Wrong adaptation, the BBC later hired the business to create A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong, a new Christmas special, in 2017. In December 2019, Mischief Theatre’s comic television series The Goes Wrong Show made its BBC debut. In 2021, the second season of the show debuted. The company is now multi-award winning including an Olivier Award for Best New Comedy in 2015 and a Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Play.

The tour of The Mind Mangler starring Henry Lewis and Jonathon Sayer is selling out fast so if you want to join in on a night of comedy magic tricks and mind reading make sure to check out the Mind Mangler Tour Website to learn more information and book tickets.
