After the success with her first EP ‘Grow’, reaching No. 4 in the singer/songwriter chart on iTunes and becoming the iconic song for the latest Amazon Prime advert, Frances is releasing her next EP, Let It Out, with hope of even more success. The title track exploits her ability to strip back music to its simplest form and create a beautiful composition.

It starts with an exposed piano part and simple vocals over the top, until the percussion kicks in with Frances singing the main melody. The track suddenly has a totally different feel, still subtly emerged in emotion, but with a lighter atmosphere. The introspective lyrics give an emotional aspect to the song, yet the chorus still has a ‘feel-good’ sense. It gives an insistence to just “let it out” and sing along!

With 3 more tracks to be released when the EP launches fully for sale, it is expected to be an exceptionally developed and interesting collection of tracks. With a recent visit to BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, she is bound to gain popularity and succeed in the music industry. She was also tweeted by Sam Smith in the last few weeks and an official lyric video and an acoustic version have been released on Youtube too before she starts her tour.

Destined for triumph in the music industry, Frances’ ‘Let It Out’ has delicately written lyrics, accompanied by a fairly light but cleverly-arranged band. Following her cover of Justin Bieber’s ‘What Do You Mean?’ on BBC Radio 1 too, Frances’ rise to stardom is surely imminent!
