Marilyn Manson fans have come out in support for Evan Rachel Wood after the American actress stated that her ex-fiancé “horrifically abused” her. The pair had previously been together for three years before ending their engagement in 2010.
The statement which names Manson by his real name, Brian Warner, claims that the metal singer originally started grooming Wood when she was a teenager.
“I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man…I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”

Wood was just 20-years-old when she began dating the then 38-year-old.
The news has undoubtedly left many of the singers’ die-hard fans in complete shock and revulsion and have come to social media to share their support:
Manson hit back at the claims of abuse on Instagram Monday night:
The singer’s record label Loma Vista Recordings, whom he’d been with since 2015, addressed the allegations and ceased all work with him “effective immediately.” Manson was also set to have a guest appearance in TV show drama American Gods which has also been axed.
Wood isn’t the only victim to claim abuse by Manson. Model Sarah McNeilly came out in solidarity and detailed her abuse at the hands of Manson.
Beneath the post one comment says: “I admire your courage to speak out and stand up with integrity.”
There are at least another three women who have also spoken out and named him as their abuser.
