Watford’s finest songstress/storyteller Connie Constance returns with the summery anti-drug, drug single ‘James’, available now on all streaming services

After releasing her first single since her debut, English Rose, earlier this year, Connie Constance is back with another banger. ‘James’ details the connections between drugs and health, both physical and mental and how they can both help and hinder a person.

Her powerful and bittersweet vocals provide a familiar reassurance, eloquently paired with the tunes bright and lucid production, it’s a track guaranteed to throw you into a summery haze.

Constance has mastered the ability to create intelligent music that sends a message, whilst still making the songs sound light. The darker elements are masterfully masked by bright and happy production, leaving us as the listeners to go back and listen again to pick up on what we may have missed the first time round.

Connie Constance is the sound of the past, present and the future. We’re looking forward to the next single already.
