Over the past couple of years Welsh pop-punk pioneers Neck Deep have been taking both the UK and America by storm with their memorable and energetic teen anthems. Following up catchy and well-received Can’t Kick Up The Roots, Neck Deep dropped the second single from their upcoming album Life’s Not Out To Get You, ‘Gold Steps’, on the 20th July.

Immediately the animated nature of the band shines through; major chords, dynamic drumming and inspirational lyrics combine to create another pop-punk masterpiece – lines such as “I’ve been moving mountains / that I once had to climb” already plastered all over a multitude of social media posts. The repetitive chord sequences and statement lyrics contribute to the unforgettable song that the Wrexham quintet have created. Sure to inspire generations and live amongst other legendary pop-punk anthems such as New Found Glory’s ‘My Friends Over You’ and Good Charlotte’s aptly named ‘The Anthem’, Neck Deep have once again followed the formula to success.

Their new album Life’s Not Out To Get You is due to be released on 14th August. To experience the growing phenomenon that is Neck Deep, and songs from their aforementioned new album, catch them on Vans Warped Tour in the US and Leeds & Reading Festival in the UK.
