Tramlines is Sheffield’s very own inner city music festival which is taking place between the 24th-26th July. The Indiependent has selected 5 must-see acts from the lineup – and if you like what you hear you can buy tickets from here
5. Nai Harvest
Hailing from the Steel City itself, Nai Harvest is a lo-fi duo made up of Lew Currie on drums and Ben Thompson on guitar and vocals. This year saw the release of their sophomore album Hairball, which followed up the success of their 2014 EP Hold Open My Head, and their 2013 debut, Whatever.
Influenced by both indie and emo rock in equal measure, Nai Harvest are a band that hold a deep summer tarnish within their sound, making them the perfect band to go and see at this years Tramlines festival. Expect bittersweet melodies (particularly on standout track ‘Buttercups’) combined with strong drum beats that sound like they belong on a blink-182 track.
