Nintendo has confirmed that two new Pokemon games will be released on the Nintendo Switch this year. During a special Pokemon edition of Nintendo Direct, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield were revealed to be next two titles in the series.
As well as a first look at the player characters, fans also got their first look at the game’s three starter Pokemon – Scorbunny, Grookey and Sobble – and the new Galar region, which will provide the game’s setting.
Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are both scheduled for a simultaneous release on Nintendo Switch in the autumn.
