Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr

Protect the Imperium at all costs in this new story in the Warhammer series. In Inquisitor – Martyr, players take on the titular role in this first action RPG from the iconic franchise. Working for the Inquisition, players can work either solo or in teams with co-op to protect their world from the forces of the Chaos Gods, who threaten to destroy every life around them. From heretics to mutants to mutated Xenos and Daemons, players will have to plan each move carefully if they want to survive.

Players who pre-order will receive either a Golden Servo-Skull Minion (Digital) or the Charybdis Outpost DLC (Physical) depending on the chosen format. The Deluxe Edition will feature additional decorations, emotes, character footprints and a copy of the game’s official soundtrack. The Imperium Edition will feature all the content from the Standard and Deluxe Editions along with an exclusive steelbook and collectors box and the Season Pass – which will allow players to have all DLC packs for free during the first year of the game.

Defiance 2050

A new Earth awaits in this updated action multiplayer adventure. Based on the former television series, Defiance 2050 puts players in the role of an Ark Hunter who is dispatched to what is left of the San Francisco Bay area. Forever altered as a result of the Pale Wars – a global conflict between humans and the various alien races of the Votanis Collective – it is the goal of the Ark hunters to gather technology and information about the new landscape.

While the core game is free to play, those looking for a head start can purchase one of two special edition Founders packs. The Demolitionist Founders Pack includes an exclusive outfit, tint, class and perks along with Early Access to the game three days before release. The Class Founders Pack includes Early Access to the game, four additional character classes – Assault, Assassin, Combat Medic and Guardian – 30 inventory slots, a 30-day XP boost and an exclusive Hannibal ATV.

Defiance 2050 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from July 10*


Octopath Traveler

The path is yours to choose in this RPG release. In Octopath Traveler, players will have the choice of playing as one of eight different characters. From the warrior Olberic to the hunter H’aanit, Primrose the dancer and Therion the thief, each character has their own unique story, skill-set, interactions and abilities. As well as the choice of character, players will also have the choice of two distinct paths – Noble or Rogue – depending on how they choose to act within the world of Orsterra.

Players who purchase the Traveler’s Compendium Edition of Octopath Traveler will receive a copy of the game, a double-sided map of Orsterra, a replica leaf coin and a special edition eight-page pop-up book with item compartments for each of the character paths that players will be able to journey through in game.

Octopath Traveler will be available on Nintendo Switch from July 13*


LEGO The Incredibles

Everyone’s favourite superhero family get the LEGO treatment in this action-packed release. Taking players through both of the Incredibles films, the Parr family must once again don their famous suits and work with Frozone to stop the ruthless Underminer from destroying Municiberg. Hampered by a “no Supers” policy, the heroes have to find new ways to navigate the block filled world, with some help from other allies – and some Pixar favourites – along the way.

As with previous LEGO game releases, LEGO The Incredibles will also release with a Mini Figurine edition – with this special edition featuring the formidable Edna Mode. Players will also be able to unlock the Parr Family Vacation Pack at select retailers. This new pack feature new looks for the entire family as they take a well-earned break from saving the world and battling the forces of evil.

LEGO The Incredibles will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch from July 13*


Sonic Mania Plus

Worlds collide in this fast-paced platformer. After following a mysterious signal, Sonic and Tails head to Angel Island, where they find Doctor Eggman has harnessed the power of the Phantom Ruby to create a new army to try and take over the world once again. Working alongside their ally, and the Island’s guardian, Knuckles, players must take Sonic and Tails on a journey through some familiar landscapes to collect the Chaos Emeralds – powerful gems crucial to halting the Ruby’s power.

Each copy of Sonic Mania Plus will come with a copy of the game, a reversible cover featuring art from both the new era of Sonic and the classic Sega Mega Drive era with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles all featured. Players will also receive a 32-page art book with the game, showcasing some of the most iconic scenes from the franchise.

Sonic Mania Plus will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC from July 17*


Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2

The world of Mega Man X is complete with this special collection bundle. Comprised of all of the titles in the Mega Man X series, the Legacy Collection contains two volumes. The first comprises of Mega Man X, X2, X3 and X4, while the second completes the story with Mega Man X5, X6, X7 and X8. With this collection, players will be able to relive the classic saga of man vs machines, as X – along with Zero and Dr Light – battles against the infected Reploids in order to protect humanity.

The consoles editions of the Collection will be packaged as two discs on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with the Nintendo Switch release available as a single disc and a digital download. The Collection will also include The Day of Σ video – giving fans a more in-depth look at the antagonist of the series, Sigma – along with four full soundtracks that feature remixes and bonus tracks, and a new game mode which will allow players to take on two bosses simultaneously.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch and PC from July 24*


Free to Play

On Xbox, Gold subscribers will have four new titles to download and play for free this month. On Xbox One, Cactus will be available from July 1-31*, with Death Squared up for grabs between July 16 – August 15*. On Xbox 360 – and Xbox One via Backwards Compatibility – Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will be available from July 1-15*, with Splinter Cell Conviction available between July 26-31*

Over on PlayStation, PS Plus members will have six titles available for free across the PlayStation family. From July 3*, Absolver and Heavy Rain will be available on PS4, Rayman 3 HD and Extreme Exorcism will be downloadable on PS3, with Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma on PS Vita and Space Overlords on PS4 and PS Vita. As an extra bonus, subscribers will be able to download Call of Duty: Black Ops III for free until July 11.
