The special console was unveiled during Sony’s Presentation at Tokyo Game show.
Sony and Square Enix have announced the creation of a special edition PS4 console for the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XV. The Lunar Edition console will be released in Japan on November 29 – the same day as the game – and will include a copy of the game.
The console was announced during Sony’s Presentation at Tokyo Game Show, with SCE Japan Asia President Atashi Morita being joined on stage by Final Fantasy XV‘s Director Hajime Tabata to unveil the console.
The Lunar Edition is one of the first PS4 slimline bundles to be announced since the console was first unveiled – alongside the PS4 Pro – at a special PlayStation Meeting last week.
The bundle will include the 1TB console, a Dualshock 4 controller and Final Fantasy XV: Deluxe Edition – which includes the game, bonus content and Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV in full. Sony also confirmed details of a standard Final Fantasy XV PS4 bundle, with the standard game, controller and 1TB black console.
Final Fantasy XV will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from November 29. Watch a trailer for the game below.
