Track Review: Vertigo // Mini Mansions ft. Alex Turner

If I were to tell you Queen’s Of The Stone Age’s very own Michael Shuman was a member of the incredible trio Mini Mansions you wouldn’t believe me right? We’ll it’s true, and this is how they’ve formed a close relationship with Arctic Monkeys front man Alex Turner. ‘Vertigo’ may be Mini Mansions big break into the alternative music scene.

Pictured above owning the stage (as always), Alex Turner has brought about a lot of attention around the long standing but newly emerging trio and it can’t be argued that ‘Vertigo’ doesn’t have that Arctic Monkeys edge, regardless of Alex’s vocals.

‘Vertigo’ has a darker, sleazier side to it, as opposed to Mini Mansions other recent releases such as the fabulously psychedelic ‘Death is a Girl’. Nevertheless the track maintains the Mini Mansions vibe providing us with Michael’s leathery vocals which contrast fantastically with Alex’s infamous Sheffield accent.
