The Queen is not Dead, son. ‘Miss Narcissist’, marks the triumphant return of Courtney Love to doing what she does best; creating guttural poetry set to music. This latest release is an grungy anthem, that displays Love delivering one angst ridden track as she beckons the listener to ‘’Come on, Come on’’. The iconic Hole frontwoman’s hiatus from the music scene last year, following the release of ‘You Know My Name’ and ‘Wedding Day’ had left some wondering whether we would ever hear the snarling retribution of Love again. Yet ‘Miss Narcissist’ is evidence that she’s not done with music quite yet, despite claims otherwise. ‘‘Magnificent and obvious’’, this track embodies Love’s lyrical prowess and expert navigation of juxtaposition as she snarls ‘’bless us with your presence / and your paranoia’’.

‘Miss Narcissist’ is a release from Nathan Williams’ (of Wavves fame) record label, Ghost Ramp. Courtney Love has proved she’s as unapologetic as always, but that won’t stop her leaving ‘’stretch marks on your arteries’’ as you garner a complete adoration for this track.

Love has recently concluded her dates accompanying Lana Del Rey as a support act on her ‘Endless Summer Tour’.

When she’s not busy fighting off critics and naysayers you can find Courtney Love on her Twitter or Facebook.
