Gaming News: EA Conference at EA Play

The conference was held as part of the company’s new EA Play Event on Los Angeles.

EA have held their annual conference looking at some of their upcoming titles and projects. This year, the conference was part of the new EA Play event, held separately from the rest of the E3 show this week. Joining those enjoying the event at the Novo in Los Angeles were those at a similar event being held at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. There was also news of some projects outside of the game content at EA.

Titanfall 2

First up was an official look at Titanfall 2. The sequel to the 2014 FPS had been the focus of an earlier leak of the trailer, which was light-heartedly commented on by Respawn CEO Vince Zampella, which was shown during the presentation. Along with a proper look at the trailer, fans got some more details on the game..

Along with the updated visuals and game-play, Titanfall 2 will feature six new Titans for players to choose from and a new, offline single-player story mode for players. There was also a look at the multiplayer game mode in another trailer. There was also news for those who want to have a preview of the game early as a technical test will be happening in the coming months. Those wanting to participate will have to register online through the Titanfall website. It was also confirmed during the presentation that the game would be released on PlayStation 4 for the first time, alongside the Xbox One and PC release.

Titanfall 2 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from October 28, 2016. Watch the trailer below.
