Marvel’s long-awaited Agatha All Along has set its release schedule.
Since its announcement back in 2021 fans have eagerly awaited the WandaVision spinoff, in which the show’s villain Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) will take the lead.
When we last saw Agatha, it was at the end of Wandavision, where she was trapped in the town of Westview, New Jersey by Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen). As described by Marvel, this new series will follow Agatha who is able to escape Westview “after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell”. The series will follow the boy as he begs Agatha to take him on the Witches’ Road, a series of legendary magical trials that will grant a successful witch with what they’re missing. Desperate to reclaim the power her escape has drained from her; Agatha will form her own coven to take on the Witches’ Road.
This mysterious teen (Joe Locke) has been heavily speculated by fans to be Billy Kaplan, the son of Wanda Maximoff/The Scarlet Witch; the mystery will likely be solved upon Agatha All Along‘s release.
The first two episodes of the season will drop on Disney+ 6pm Pacific Time (PT) and 9pm Eastern Time (ET) on Wednesday 18 September. For UK audiences, this means that the episodes will be available at 2am on Thursday 19 September.
New episodes will continue to be released weekly throughout September and October until the 30 or 31 October (depending on your timezone) when the final two episodes will drop together. This makes the show perfectly timed for Halloween lovers who will already be intrigued by Agatha All Along’s witchy nature.
Those looking for something spooky to watch throughout October will be able to tune into an episode each week. But for those looking for a Halloween binge the entire show will be on Disney+ in time for the big day itself.
Agatha and her mysterious teenage companion will be joined on the Witches’ Road by a coven of witches including Aubrey Plaza as Rio Vidal, Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale, Alice Ahn as Alice Wu-Gulliver and Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu.
Agatha All Along will air exclusively on Disney+
