Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World will be embarking on another UK tour this winter, following its highly successful previous UK tour in 2021-2022.

The tour will open in Wimbledon at The New Wimbledon Theatre on 30 November, before doing a Christmas season at the Lowry in Manchester through December and January. It is then set to visit Cardiff, Milton Keynes & Coventry before finishing its run in Newcastle in February.

The show is based on the picture book of the same name by Kate Pankhurst (a distant relative of famous suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst) and follows schoolgirl Jade as she breaks off from a school trip to a local museum to discover iconic women from the past whose actions and work have changed our world.

Featuring a pop soundtrack, the show highlights the often forgotten contributions of women throughout history. Examples of women featured in the show include Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, Marie Curie, Mary Seacole, Frida Kahlo, Jane Austen and Emmeline Pankhurst among others.

The creative team behind the show include dramatist Chris Bush, with lyrics also by Bush & Miranda Cooper, music production and orchestrations by Cooper and Jennifer Decliveo, direction by Amy Hodge and choreography by Dannielle “Rhimes” Lecointe. Live music arrangements are by Jen Green and assistant musical direction is by Bronwen Chen. The touring production also features set and costume design from Joanna Scotcher, lighting design from Zoe Spur & sound design from Carolyn Downing and Rob Bettle.

Casting for this upcoming tour has yet to be announced. Tickets for the tour along with a full list of dates can be found here.
