‘It’s Up To Me Now’ possesses instant familiarity and warmth. It is upbeat and simplistic without being uninventive; the song is constructed with contrasting elements which add intrigue and dimension. Perhaps one of the most notable elements is the climactic time change which concludes the song perfectly. This is a triumphant effort.
