The Great British Bake Off Musical Announces West End Casting

The cast for the West End transfer of The Great British Bake Off Musical has been announced.

Four-time Olivier Award-nominee and BAFTA nominee Hadyn Gwynne (Anything Goes; Billy Elliot the Musical; TV: The CrownThe Windsors) will be playing the role of Pam Lee, whilst former Pop Idol contestant Zoe Birkett (Moulin Rouge! The Musical; The Bodyguard) will be playing Kim.

Grace Mouat joins the cast as Izzy (SIX; Cinderella; Legally Blonde), and Georgie Westall (A Christmas Carol; Rocky Horror Show), Stuart Hickey (Come From Away; Grandpa’s Great Escape) and Jamil Abbasi, in his West End debut, join the cast as understudies. The child role of Lily will be shared by Aanya Shah, Amelie Rouse and Maisy Mein.

They will be joining many of the original cast from the hugely successful run at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham this summer, including John Owen Jones as Phil Collinghurst.

Alongside them will also be Scott Paige, Claire Moore, Charlotte Wakefield, Damian Humbley, Jay Saighal, Michael Cahill, Aharon Rayner, Louis Gaudencio, Gabriella Stylianou, and Annette Yeo. Rayner and Stylianou will be making their West End debuts in the production.

The Great British Bake Off Musical is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh (Wind in the Willows; Half a Sixpence), with an original score written by the award winning duo of Jake Brunger (book and lyrics) and Pippa Cleary (music and lyrics).

The Great British Bake Off Musical will open at the Noёl Coward Theatre on 24 February 2023 and will run until 13 May 2023.
