Players will be able to race across Venus and Mars in the special event.
During the Keynote Presentation at the PlayStation Experience, Bungie announced that there would be a special Sparrow Racing League coming to Destiny.
Starting on December 8 and running for three weeks, players will be able to race each other for new rewards in the multi-player contest. The event will also feature exclusive new content for PlayStation users.
Sparrow Racing is free to play for those who already have, or purchase, The Taken King expansion which is available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
