Actor and former Blue Peter presenter, Peter Duncan, has launched three online pantomimes in advance of the festive season.

Offering a family ticket covering all three pantomimes for £15, Panto Online aims to make pantomime accessible in a cost-effective way with reasonably priced packages available for schools and community groups.

Pantoland is the writer and directors’ latest cinematic production. Audiences will experience a pantomime adventure through Dame Dolly Doughnut’s tales of Aladdin and Peter Pan. The show features puppets, monsters, and sing-alongs and according to Duncan “is made up of the best bits of the best pantomimes”.

Released alongside Pantoland is Panto Online’s 2020 production, Cinderella, described as comprising “original songs, great spectacle, slapstick and slosh and an unexpected outcome”.

Jack and the Beanstalk, their 2021 show is also available for streaming, with Panto Online promising a “planet-saving pantomime” with a “really big Giant”.

Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk are available for streaming now, while Pantoland will start streaming from 1 December.

Panto Online was initiated at the start of the Covid pandemic when Peter Duncan created his own online pantomime for worldwide audiences. This combination of theatre and film was streamed into homes and schools as well as on UK national cinema release.

This summer, Duncan attempted a 30-foot high zipwire stunt dressed in full panto costume as Widow Twankey on a flying carpet above his garden.

Further information can be found on the Panto Online website.
