Starbucks have PSLs back on the menu, a fresh batch of bakers are in the iconic tent and a cast of new celebrities are dancing for the Glitterball. All of this can only mean one thing: it is nearly Halloween! To celebrate the spooky season, London’s Lyric Theatre are hosting West End Musical Halloween on Monday 31 October.
For one night only, the show will feature freaky moments from various musicals including Sweeney Todd, Phantom of The Opera, Beetlejuice, Carrie, The Addams Family and more.
Bursting with spine-chilling songs and creepy choreography, the musical is the creation of West End Musical Productions. With previous shows including Brunch and Christmas, they have been named a 2022 theatre maker to watch by The Stage.
While the set list is a closely guarded secret, the cast includes Courtney Bowman (Legally Blonde), Luke Bayer (Everybody’s Talking about Jamie), Shanay Holmes (Get Up Stand Up). Joining them will also be Sophie Isaacs (Heathers), Jordan Shaw (Les Miserables) and Tosh Wanogho-Maud (The Drifters Girl). The theatre encourages fancy dress, so go wild and rock a creepy costume!
West End Musical Halloween is at 7:30pm on Monday 31 October at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue.
The nearest underground stations are Piccadilly Circus (Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines) and Leicester Square (Piccadilly and Northern lines). The nearest train station is Charing Cross.
Tickets ranging from £25-65 are available from Nimax Theatre’s website.
